House of Sunny Goes Back to Basics with New "Color Theory" Collection
Crafted in organic cotton and in limited quantities.
London label House of Sunny has taken a pared-back approach to its latest offering, continuing to promote its slow fashion ethos and dedication to responsible design.
The new collection, dubbed “Color Theory,” sees the brand focus on creating staple pieces like cozy hoodies, comfy sweatshirts and neutral cargo pants, paired with a range everyday basics including denim and accessories. The new offering pays a subtle tribute to the typically vibrant colorways and striking prints of House of Sunny’s previous ranges, through delicate hues of blue, pastel pink and gray, punctuated with classic blacks and creams.
“We at House of Sunny are known for our bold & colourful statement pieces. Myself and the team wanted to broaden our range of products, creating a capsule collection crafted from Organic Cotton and made in limited quantities. These pieces were curated to be mixed in or layered with our other styles and various colour palettes,” explains Founder Sunny Williams in a press release.
Speaking about the process behind the collection, Williams adds, ”Using Pantone colour matching we have curated our first instalment of basics in 5 complimentary colour ways. Our ‘Colour Theory’ collection features classic styles with a contemporary finish, using a minimal but aesthetic colour palette, making these pieces incredibly wearable, adaptable and versatile.”
