Pamela Anderson Reflects on Sex Tape Aftermath in Trailer for Netflix's 'Pamela, a love story'
“I want to take control of the narrative for the first time,” she says.
Pamela Anderson is speaking her truth in the first trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary, Pamela, a love story.
In the trailer, Anderson reflects on struggling with the fact that her sex tape with ex Tommy Lee resurfaced. “I blocked that stolen tape out of my life in order to survive and and now that it’s all coming back up again, I feel sick,” she says in the trailer. “I want to take control of the narrative for the first time.”
Anderson could possibly be referring to the Hulu show Pam & Tommy, which mostly focuses on the former couple’s leaked sex tape.
The documentary will also focus on other aspects of her life. The synopsis for Pamela, a love story reads as follows: “An intimate and humanizing portrait of one of the world’s most famous blonde bombshells, Pamela, a love story follows the trajectory of Pamela Anderson’s life and career from small town girl to international sex symbol, actress, activist and doting mother.”
Pamela, a love story premieres on Netflix on January 31. Watch the trailer above.
