“I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.” – Schnapp

Actor Noah Schnapp, who plays the character Will Byers on Netflix‘s hit series Stranger Things, opened up about his sexuality via TikTok.

In the most Gen Z fashion, Schnapp took to TikTok to recount his coming out story. However, unbeknownst to him, his loved ones were not surprised and were prepared to offer full support.

“When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know,’” he says. As if the moment couldn’t get any funnier, he hilariously captioned the photo: “I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.”

During Season 2 of Stranger Things, Schnapp’s character also struggled with his sexuality and eventually came out to his peer, Mike (played by Finn Wheeler).
