Netflix Announces 'The Glory' Part 2 Release Date
Described to be “refreshingly satisfying and shockingly intense.”
The Glory, the latest revenge K-drama from Netflix, is set to return with Part 2.
The buzzy TV show, which has ranked in the streaming giant’s Top 10 charts three weeks in a row, follows the story of Moon Dong-eun (played by Song Hye-kyo), who seeks revenge on her previous classmate Park Yeon-jin (Lim Ji-yeon) and her group of friends for bullying her throughout her teen years. Written by Kim Eun-sook (The King: Eternal Monarch, Mr. Sunshine, Descendants of the Sun), the series originally released on December 30, 2022, becoming one of the most-talked-about K-dramas over the past few weeks.
Kim shared in a press release, “If you’ve watched Part 1, you won’t be able to resist Part 2. Part 2 is refreshingly satisfying and shockingly intense,” while director An Gil-ho added, “The fight between Dong-eun and Yeon-jin really takes off and the perpetrators dynamically meet their end. You won’t be able to take your eyes off of the screen. All elements of the story will now come full circle.”
While not much else information is available at the moment, Part 2 of The Glory will be a continuation of Dong-eun’s meticulously planned revenge. The new installment will release on Netflix on March 10.
