Surface Project's FW23 Collection is Dedicated to Space Cowgirls
All shoes from the collection are built from post-consumer plastic and recycled nylon.
Copenhagen-based footwear label Surface Project is gearing up to debut its all-new Fall/Winter 2023 collection. Dubbed “Space Cowgirl,” the range offers a handful of cheerful silhouettes along with bright colors to deliver a buoyant mood during harrowing times.
The lookbook juxtaposes unfussy urban styling with mossy footwear silhouettes, modernized through texture, color palettes and materials. The label’s signature block, dual-tone heels land in neon green and classic white tones, while the platform Chelsea boots offer otherworldly combinations of blues/blacks and oranges/reds. A classic loafer silhouette joins the seasonal themes through vibrant lime accents.
Surface Project introduces two new styles to its portfolio this season, a puffer snow-style boot available in knee and ankle length and an irreverent shopping boot. The first one is available in both black, beige and military green, while the second lands in hot pink and tangerine, making the silhouette the perfect statement shoe.
Elsewhere, continuing the label’s belief that “our planet — and our future — deserves better,” all shoes from the collection are built from post-consumer plastic and recycled nylon. Furthermore, the range is assembled using natural cork, reclaimed rubber, and chemical-free dyes. Shipping is also ensured to be carbon-neutral by utilizing recycled materials.
