Faculty Launches At-Home DIY Tooth Gem Starter Kits

With easy application and removal.

Faculty, the rising beauty brand promoting self-expression and challenging gender norms, is stepping into a new product category for its latest launch. Adding to its lineup of nail polish and stickers are starter kits for those looking to get tooth gems at home.

Building on the ongoing beauty trend, the New York-based label took inspiration from the late ’90s and early ’00s to create the new beauty accessory. The tooth gems are offered in six styles — white “Clarity,” silver “Metal,” blue “Denim,” “Deep Red,” gold “Medallion” and red heart-shaped “Luv.” Five gems are packaged in each retro, cigarette pack-like box along with four microbrush applicators, etching gel, UV bonding fluid, a white wax pencil, a mini UV light and four cotton rolls, making tooth gems accessible at the comfort of your own home. The pieces last up to two weeks with an effortless removal process.

The brand shared in a press release, “Beauty is one of the most complex tools someone can use to express themself, and as a brand whose M.O. goes against the grain, the next natural step for FACULTY was tapping into one of the most expressive forms of beauty — tooth gems. Everything from the eye-catching gems to the cigarette box-inspired packaging is a tongue-in-cheek aim at culture-at-large.”

Priced at $40 USD for a pack, the Tooth Gems Starter Kits are now available on Faculty’s website.
