Mugler Taps Hunter Schafer as Face of Its New Fragrance "Angel Elixir"
The ‘Euphoria’ star leads the charge on a Next-Gen reboot for the brand.
Mugler has tapped Euphoria star Hunter Schafer as the new face of its “Angel Elixir” fragrance.
For a bit of history, Mugler’s original “Angel” perfume was dubbed the first “gourmand” perfume in the early ’90s and was quite the shocker to the fragrance industry. The original “Angel” carries decadent notes of synthetic praline, cotton candy and a red berry concoction making one smell “good enough to eat.” “Angel Elixir” is a modern spin on the OG scent that will reach a new generation while staying true to the DNA of queer nightlife culture, characters and femininity.
“Angel Elixir” doesn’t abandon the concept of the original “Angel” Eau de Parfum — which is where Schafer comes in, bridging the gap between Gen Z, Gen A and the millennial. “I have been a fan of Mugler runway since I was young,” Schafer says in a press release. “It has been thrilling getting to collaborate with Casey and the entire Mugler team to bring the reinvention of this iconic fragrance to life.”
Mugler’s “Angel Elixir” retail price ranges from $35 USD to $185 USD and can be purchased via the brand’s web store.
