BALLY Embraces Its Natural Side for SS23

Swiss luxury brand BALLY is taking a rugged approach to Spring/Summer 2023, venturing out into the elements to juxtapose its elevated designs.
Captured by photographer Harley Weir, models find themselves on a windswept and rocky coastline for creative director Rhuigi Villaseñor‘s debut collection. While the terrain is rough and ready, the garments evoke a sense of poise and confidence. A Canadian tuxedo flaunts a supple denim blouse and jeans, while its accompanying emerald green snake-printed handbag adds a major dose of drama to the otherwise pared-back ensemble. Elsewhere, a rockstar-ready python jacket commands attention, even against frothing, crashing waves, while leather pants of a similar print carry a touch of gravitas, arriving in a black and white colorway.
Jewelry is a new avenue of exploration for BALLY as opulent bracelets filled with large-than-life stones take up space on models’ arms, joining gold earrings that mirror abstract sculptures.
