Cardi B Extends Her Record as the Female Artist With the Most Songs Streamed Over a Billion Times
Nine of her tracks have surpassed one billion on-demand streams.
Cardi B continues to make history with her music. The rapper has extended her record as the female artist with the most songs to surpass one billion on-demand streams in U.S. history.
The Bronx native currently has nine songs in that category, with “Money” as the latest to reach that milestone.
Last March, Cardi made history for a different reason. She became the first-ever female artist to have every song on an album certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. In other words, all 13 songs from her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, each have one million or more certification units.
Of the accomplishment, Cardi tweeted, “AMAZING. Can’t wait for my second album. Thanks for all the love and support.”
Stay tuned for more updates on Cardi’s B forthcoming album. In the meantime, check out the nine songs that have surpassed nine billion streams below.
