Michaela Coel and Anne Hathaway Will Play a Couple in 'Mother Mary'

Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel are set to star in a new film together, one where Hathaway plays a pop star who gets into a romantic relationship with a fashion designer (played by Coel).
Titled Mother Mary, the film sees pop icon Charli XCX and Jack Antonoff teaming up to create the soundtrack — producing a series of original songs that we already know we’ll love. Alongside Charli and Antonoff, Daniel Hart has been tapped to compose the film’s score.
Directed by David Lowery, known for The Green Knight and A Ghost Story, little else has been revealed about Mother Mary so far but with the star-studded list of people associated so far, we suspect that it’ll be a good one. Sharing the news on Instagram, Charli said “Jack bout to get mothered.”
