Oh Yoon-hee (played by Eugene), who comes from a humble background, makes her way into Hera Palace, sending her daughter to her alma mater Cheong-ah Arts School, where she rivaled against Cheon Seo-jin (Kim So-yeon). The success of the first installment led to two more seasons of Penthouse in which the characters try to uncover a mysterious death as their kids prepare for their college entrance examinations.

At the center of this competitive educational system is Kim Joo-young (Kim Seo-hyeong), a coordinator and private educator who is known for her high success rate in students’ admission to Seoul National University.
