A Vaccine Bill Named After Nicki Minaj Is Introduced by Rep. George Santos.

On Monday, April 17, New York Rep. George Santos introduced seven new bills, including one inspired by Nicki Minaj.
The House of Representatives member, who is infamous for misleading the public and fabricating his career, dubbed the bill The Minaj Act. According to Semafor reporter Kadia Goba, The Minaj Act aims to establish “a development period for new vaccines in order to generate public confidence.”
The introduction of the bill comes a year and a half after Minaj expressed her disapproval of the COVID-19 vaccine, which garnered backlash.
“They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. If I get vaccinated, it won’t [be] for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grip your head & face. Not that loose one,” she tweeted at the time.
Afterward, she shared a story about her cousin, who she claims became “impotent” after getting the vaccine. As a result, medical experts looked into the claim and revealed that there is no scientific evidence supporting those side effects.
