Skrillex, Fred Again and Four Tet Join Coachella as Weekend 2 Headliners
Following Frank Ocean’s last-minute dropout.
Following Frank Ocean‘s last-minute dropout from the music festival’s second weekend, Coachella has announced that Skrillex, Fred Again and Four Tet will join the event as headliners on Sunday.
The electronic music trio will take the spot following Blink-182’s set on the main stage, which was left empty after Frank Ocean announced he wouldn’t return after his much-talked-about set during the first weekend. The “Pink + White” musician had received much backlash for being more than an hour late to his performance — his first in six years — due to production involving an ice skating rink on stage that was pulled last minute.
A similar incident happened last year at Coachella, when Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) pulled out from the lineup just a day before the festival. To fill the slot, Swedish House Mafia joined forces with The Weeknd for their stage.
Skrillex, Fred Again and Four Tet’s Coachella set is scheduled for 10:25 p.m. PST on April 23.
