Rosalía Speaks Out Against Fake Nudes of Her

“There is something called consent.”

Rosalía is calling enough enough, standing up for herself and all women as the Grammy award-winning artist spoke out against a male musician posting photoshopped nude images of her.

Musician JC Reyes posted images of altered images of the singer, alleging that she sent the fake nudes to him on an Instagram livestream, according to Rolling Stone. Her eagle-eyed and loyal fans knew better, quickly disproving the images and starting the hashtag #RespectRosalia on social media.

The Spanish artist spoke her piece on Twitter, writing, “Going to look for clout disrespecting and sexualizing someone is a type of violence and it’s disgusting but doing it for four plays of + what gives is shame.” The body of a woman is not public property. There is something called consent and all of you who found it funny or plausible I sincerely hope that one day you learn that you come from a woman, that women are sacred and that we have to be respected bye,” she continued.

Major side eye to anyone who things fake nudes or revenge porn is okay.
