Did Taylor Swift Collab With Ice Spice To Cover for Her Racist Boyfriend?
Fans are calling the move “calculated” after his racist comments.
Amidst rumors that Taylor Swift is dating 1975 band member Matt Healy, she announces a collaboration with Ice Spice — whom Healy has made racist comments about.
“I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch. So delighted to say that “Karma” featuring the incredible @icespice will be out TOMORROW,” Swift captioned the Instagram photo of her and the rapper.
Earlier this year, Healy called Ice Spice an “Inuit Spice Girl” after she revealed her love for his band. As a result, Swift’s announcement appears to be oddly calculated, as fans have begin to point out. One fan commented on Ice Spice’s announcement post, “didn’t her boyfriend call you a racial slur?” Neither party has yet to comment.
Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse shit as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you 💔 Happy Women’s History Month I guess pic.twitter.com/2X0jEOXIWp

However, Swift’s questionable behavior doesn’t end there. In 2021, Swift tweeted her disdain at the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia for making the sexist comment “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.” Swift posted a screenshot of the subtitles, denouncing the series for being sexist during Women’s History Month. Recently, these tweets resurfaced after rumors of her dating a “Nazi” circulated.
Is Swift’s camp losing the plot? It appears so.
