Lesbian dating app HER launches a new feature during Pride Month.
In celebration of queer pride, HER conducted a “State of Thirst” survey to determine the sex and dating trends amongst its users. Surprisingly, Gen Z was the least horny generation, in comparison to Gen X ranking as the horniest. Unfortunately, STI disclosure was the least prevalent for Gen Z and Gen X.
Familiar with the notion that Pride Month welcomes free sexuality and sex-positivity, HER unsurprisingly found that “40% of queers surveyed are ideally hoping to hook up with a friend at Pride – the classic queer “friend with benefits” arrangement, and “50% of Gen X users, specifically those over 50, said their ideal Pride hookup is a threesome or group sex,” the press release stated.
To support users and their sexual exploration, HER launches “Thirst Mode,” a 60-minute increment for users to tap unlimited likes, swipes and profile boosts.
