A New MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Collaboration Is on the Way
And it’s the perfect summer shoe.
MM6 Maison Margiela is once again teaming up with cult-loved French sportswear company Salomon, following their successful collaboration for Fall/Winter 2022. This time, they unveil the XT-4 Mules, a new addition to their irreverent sneakers lineup.
The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon mules are presented in two colorways. The first features creamy earth tones, while the second showcases vibrant teal, purple and yellow accents. Designed with a chopped heel, the mules still incorporate the iconic features of the XT-4 silhouette. These include the full-length Agile Chassis Skeleton, the convenient one-pull Quicklace system, a carbon-like coating over the mesh uppers and dual-density midsoles.
Distinctive details from the collaboration can be seen in the Maison Margiela number moniker, with the letter 6 encircling the toebox and the eye-catching multi-colored nylon strips fixed on the tongue, proudly displaying the “XT-4 Mule” branding. The looks are completed with Molded OrthoLite sock liners for exceptional comfort and Mud Contragrip outsoles for optimal traction.
