It’s Kawaii Time as the UK's Largest Japanese Culture and Food Festival Returns to London
Don’t miss the thirteenth edition of HYPER JAPAN in Olympia London.
HYPER JAPAN, the UK’s largest festival of Japanese culture, is making a highly anticipated return this summer for its thirteenth year. Across three days, Olympia London is set to be transformed into a vibrant hub of Japanese food, art and culture.
Since its inception in 2010, HYPER JAPAN has grown exponentially, drawing in 30,000 visitors annually. Attendees have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the best of Japanese tradition and innovation. With over 300 exhibitors showcasing their talents, HYPER JAPAN is a treasure trove of Japanese street food, stage performances, workshops, seminars and a Gallery Level featuring original artwork and handmade goods.
The festival also offers authentic Japanese cuisine experiences, such as traditional rice bowls, takoyaki, yakisoba and matcha sweets in collaboration with Miffy and Hokkaido scallop skewers from Soldeli. Similarly, there’s a tasting sake experience as well as a variety of workshops to attend, including a Japanese tea ceremony, origami workshops, Japanese cocktail making and even a manga workshop. And of course, visitors can expect a big celebration of anime and manga across the entire space.
HYPER JAPAN will run from July 21 to 23 at Olympia London. Visit the festival’s website to purchase your tickets.
