Walk Into the Future With the atmos x New Balance 2002R
Dipped in “Cybernetics Blue.”
Inspired by futuristic technology, atmos and New Balance continue to expand upon their collaborative efforts, unveiling the 2002R in an icy blue colorway.
“Cybernetics Blue” evokes a sense of innovation as well as sterility as the light blue points to scientific pursuits, while New Balance’s trademark gray hue provides a touch of familiarity and warmth. The signature blue rests at the mesh base, while an interwoven array of overlays are enveloped in a dark concrete shade, contrasted by pale stone leather panels. Meanwhile, blue makes a second appearance, wrapping around the while, joining an off-white midsole and black rubber outsole.
Release for the New Balance 2002R “Cybernetics Blue” is scheduled to begin with a lottery via atmos Tokyo. Submissions begin on July 7 with its release date set for July 14 at a price of ¥22,000 JPY (approx. $152 USD). Stay tuned for release information regarding other regions.
