doublet, SUICOKE and Vibram Debut Furry Furoshiki Shoe

More is certainly more as brands doublet, SUICOKE and Vibram team up to release “The Bat,” an experimental shoe, not for the faint of heart.
Building off of SUICOKE’s FUTON-LO, doublet generously lines the whacky and whimsical silhouette with faux fur, adding adorable bat-eared toes. Vibram bulks up the shoe with its Furoshiki construction, providing a sturdy, branded heel. Unfastening the side and opening the flap allows for easy entry. The avant-garde shoes arrive in an all-black colorway, as well as a black and dusty pink striped iteration. This isn’t the first time fashion has mirrored nature as doublet’s Fall/Winter 2023 Paris Fashion Week show welcomed several four-legged references in the form of hair-covered Vans, overalls that transformed models into upright bunnies, alongside voguing mice and furry sweatpants.
