Farruche Is Bringing Brazil's Spirit to London With These Carnival Exclusives
Celebrating culture, community and craftsmanship.
London-based Brazilian brand Farruche has just unveiled its latest capsule collection, a set of carnival exclusives rooted in culture and community. The lineup showcases accessories, crochet pieces and bikinis, all paying homage to Farruche’s home country, Brazil. Perfectly timed to coincide with London’s August carnival month, the imprint captures the festive spirit as the city comes alive.
The range seamlessly blends contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship, realized through a partnership with Brazilian crocheters—highlighting Farruche’s commitment to nurturing creativity and elevating Brazil’s crochet culture, especially São Paulo’s crochet cap tradition. Highlights include mini skirts, crossbody pouches, dresses, two-piece sets, trousers and shoulder tops.
At the heart of the project are the artisans from São Paulo’s collective, Artesanato Chave. Their craft takes center stage, infusing each cap and belt with authenticity. Farruche’s Co-Founders, Lorena and Larissa Lorenco, shared: “This collection represents a harmonious blend of our London-inspired designs and the rich artisanal heritage of Brazil. We are excited to showcase the creative prowess of our talented partners at Artesanato Chave and contribute to the recognition of crochet culture, particularly in São Paulo. These caps and belts pay tribute to our roots and celebrate the spirit of carnival.”
Farruche’s carnival exclusives are now available via the label’s website.
