Jordan Brand Revives Nike's Air Ship Through Corporate Got 'Em Collab
Shaggy suede uppers get dressed in a teal colorway.
In a bid to rejuvenate the Nike Air Ship’s retro appeal, Jordan Brand has partnered with a range of collaborators. After successful ventures alongside Awake NY and A Ma Maniére, the iconic Air Ship silhouette is receiving a refreshing update through a collaboration with Corporate Got ‘Em.
At the helm of the Midwest retail chain is Matt Tomamichel, who has reimagined the sneaker’s evolution from sport to lifestyle. Departing from traditional full leather, Tomamichel has chosen teal shaggy suede and leather panels to craft an engaging foundation. Subtly stitched in white on lateral heels, the store’s name replaces customary “Nike” heel branding with personalized “Got ‘Em” spell-outs. Adorning the collar’s interior is the embroidered phrase “For the City” in white font, encapsulating Tomamichel’s community-driven ethos.
The Corporate Got ‘Em x Jordan Air Ship sneaker is set to launch on September 8 via Corporategotem.com and through Nike NBHD retailers on September 15 for $150 USD.
