HYKE's Upcoming Collab With The North Face Is Trail and Runway Ready
Debuted at Rakuten Tokyo Fashion Week.
Japanese fashion brand HYKE offered a glimpse of its upcoming capsule collection with The North Face during its Spring/Summer 2024 runway show at Rakuten Tokyo Fashion Week. The venture marks their first joint project in four years, following their previous Fall/Winter collection focused on comfortable, functional designs.
The collection combines HYKE’s minimalist design principles with The North Face’s expertise in high-performance materials, with a palette predominantly featuring army green, gray and black, as well as an emphasis on functionality inspired by trail running.
The range includes various pieces, from bolero-style vests and waterproof outerwear to hats, long-sleeve tops and pants. Yet, a standout feature is the collaborative trail runners, available in black and khaki green. The shoes feature mesh uppers, a sleek silhouette and a distinctive flap-like panel adorned with co-branded details. Interestingly, the sihlouette’s side profile resembles a rocker-style design and they come equipped with lugged soles ideal for tackling rugged mountain trails.
Stay tuned for updates on this collaboration between HYKE and The North Face. Further information about the launch is set to be revealed in January 2024.
