A Closer Look at 'The Powerpuff Girls' x Nike SB Dunk in "Buttercup" and "Bubbles"
Joining the previously teased “Blossom” colorway.
Not long after fans received a closer look at the forthcoming “Blossom” iteration of Nike and The Powerpuff Girls‘ new SB Dunk collaboration, close-ups of both the “Buttercup” and “Bubbles” colorways have since made their way onto social media too.
The latest preview, courtesy of Masterchefian, showcases a shiny satin green “Buttercup” sneaker, complete with bold black Swooshes, laces and a chunky midsole which rests atop a translucent outsole. The embroidered heel boasts a graphic representation of Buttercup’s eyes, alongside other thematic touches which land across the tongue tag and sock liner.
Similarly, the “Bubbles” design features a shimmery blue upper, complete with hits of yellow at the Swooshes and laces. The same solid black hue takes over the midsole and the shoe’s piping, finished with the same embroidered eye detailing at the heel.
Take a closer look at both colorways above, with the full collection still slated for release sometime in December.
