NSFW: Fendi’s “Touch of Fur” Shawl Goes Viral
Take a peek at the hilarious, viral moment.
Twitter — ahem, X — is the land of chaos and this week’s topic: Fendi‘s unintentional sex-positivity.
“?” one user wrote while sharing an image of Fendi’s “Pink Touch of Fur” shawl for women. What was so attention grabbing you might ask? Well, the $1,190 USD shawl, every boho-chic and elder’s fav, resembles the…. vulva.
“A coochie shawl, I done seen it all,” wrote another user hilariously, causing the post to go viral.

Whether the cheeky resemblance was intentional or not, it wouldn’t be the first time the fashion industry referenced femme form. Just this past Fall/Winter 2024 fashion month, vulvas dominated showcases resulting in sexy silhouettes, and sex positive discussions for days. Most notably, John Galliano’s collection for Maison Margiela adorned the vulva with hair-like texture to highlight femme form. Both on and off the runway, t-ts became the main attraction with adorned nipples and the resurgence of cone bras, as seen on Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé.
Whatever the intention here — it’s iconic.
