BAO and Friends Celebrate Lunar New Year With Dover Street Market
Featuring exclusive collaborations with Simone Rocha, Carhartt WIP and SHUSHU/TONG.
Taiwanese restaurant chain BAO is joining in on 2025’s Lunar New Year celebrations, enlisting a few of its friends for a special release at Dover Street Market. Taking place at DSM locations in London, Singapore and Ginza, the celebration features an immersive convenience store-style installation alongside exclusive designer collaborations.
Taking inspiration from the vibrant aesthetic of Asian convenience stores, the BAO & Friends pop-up features a slew of impressive collaborations and exclusive merchandise to ring in the festive season. Pieces to look out for include LNY-themed T-shirts from Carhartt WIP, deep red headscarves from SHUSHU/TONG and snake-inspired necklaces by Simone Rocha. Elsewhere, guests can also shop cute Good Squish hair scrunchies, Deathmask rubber clogs and sad-face motif jewelry courtesy of YVMIN.
Outside of its collaborations, the store will also feature BAO-branded embroidered caps, engraved Zippo lighters and custom water bottles, all with special LNY designs. Finally, it wouldn’t be BAO without a bit of food and as a result, the convenience store will also be stocked with Taiwanese snacks and drinks including BAO’s Weeping Sake and Umeshu negronis and a new BAO Chilli Crisp Oil.
