Macron's Limited-Edition Jersey Blends Sportswear and Design
In celebration of the Netherlands’ annual DEMO festival.
February is packed with standout events — from Valentine’s Day to the Fall/Winter fashion month, and in the Netherlands the annual DEMO festival is another standout. The event showcased the finest in motion design, spotlighting the work of top studios, talented designers and emerging artists from academies across the country. Cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Tilburg, Eindhoven and Utrecht came alive with dynamic visual art, as public screens displayed stunning creations in a 24-hour global exhibition.
To mark the occasion, Italian sportswear brand Macron teamed up with Studio Dumbar DEPT — a branding agency specializing in visual identity and communication design. Together, they created the “DEMO Festival Special Jersey 2025” — a blend of athletic performance and art that reimagined sport as a form of cultural expression.
This collaboration displayed how sportswear and art can intersect to produce something truly unique and as Angelo Marino, Macron’s Chief Brand and Communications Officer shared in a press release, “This partnership is a further step in the process of strengthening the brand identity that we are pursuing in various fields beyond sport.”
