Namilia Awakens The Aughts In Collaboration With Playboy

The FW25 collection features handbags-turned-skirts, pierced tanks and a bevy of bedazzled velour.

Following the success of its viral, Spring/Summer 2025 Ed Hardy collaboration, Namilia is back with another aughts-awakening team up — this time with Playboy. The Berlin-based brand, which has dressed the likes of Julia Fox, Cardi B, Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton and Arca, knows a thing or two about the it-girl, perfectly positioning it to tap into the world of Playboy.

“It’s always been a dream to work with Playboy — it’s just perfect for our brand identity,” creative director Nan Li tells us. “I really felt like a teenager pretending to be a designer and making my dream clothing for my celebrity fans. For me, Playboy is such an iconic world and bringing it into today and elevating it was really special.”

One year in the making, the Fall/Winter 2025 collaboration features pierced spaghetti strap tanks, luxe silk robes and a bevy of bedazzled velour. As a homage to both Playboy’s rebellious femininity and Namilia’s rave revival aesthetic, the collection taps into daring silhouettes, barely-there bikinis and custom charms. Elsewhere, leather bags transform into mini skirts, pants and jackets — all adorned with Playboy zippers and keys.

Where most Playboy collaborations start and end with a simple bunny logo T-shirt, Namilia was determined to create runway pieces out of signature Playboy references while commenting on the reversal of power structures they hold. Li continues, “This collection doesn’t just reference traditional female archetypes—it dismantles them, challenging outdated notions of power dressing, professionalism and allure. Namilia has a really strong social and political identity and we always try to incorporate it in a contemporary way.”

The Namilia x Playboy collection is now available for purchase on the brand’s website.
