Watch Ariana Grande's New Short Film, 'Brighter Days Ahead'
Seemingly releasing multiple music videos at once.
As she enjoys her Wicked hiatus, Ariana Grande releases the deluxe release of her hit album, Eternal Sunshine – with a short film, Brighter Days Ahead.
On March 10, Grande announced the deluxe version of her last album. Fans immediately lost it and thanked their favorite for keeping them fed with new releases. Little did they know, the “thank u, next” singer wasn’t done with her announcements.

“Brighter days ahead, the short film also coming 3.28,” Grande captioned an Instagram post on March 12. Releasing alongside the deluxe, Brighter Days Ahead is a short film creative directed by Christian Breslauer. He’s most known for his music video production enjoyed by the likes of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Lisa and of course, Grande throughout her successful career.
On March 20, Grande released the second teaser on Instagram giving a closer look into her Brighter Days Ahead. The film poster features Grande rising from debris, and seemingly, heartbreak, making fans all the more excited to witness this new chapter.
For those unfamiliar, Eternal Sunshine referenced the 2004 film featuring Jim Carre and Kate Winslet, two lovers who broke up and chose to wipe their minds of their respective memories. On the album, Grande grapples with heartbreak — specifically that with talented musician and her ex, Mac Miller.
