Carhartt WIP's SS25 Collection Proves You Can Work Hard and Stay Cool
Shot by French-Uruguayan photographer, Bettina Pittaluga.
As the days grow longer and the sun lingers a little later, it’s time to pack away the heavy knits and swap them out for breezier essentials — just in time for Carhartt WIP‘s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “Portside.”
Set against the sun-drenched backdrop of Marseille, the collection exudes a sense of nostalgia while remaining effortlessly cool. The campaign, shot by French-Uruguayan photographer Bettina Pittaluga, feels like a cinematic snapshot of real life — intimate, documentary-style imagery bathed in golden-hour light, perfectly capturing the capsule’s homage to Carhartt WIP’s workwear roots.
Classic motifs return with a fresh spin, including the signature hickory stripe, reimagined in the women’s “Hendry” coat and matching pants, available in a black or raw, undyed white canvas. Natural, breathable fabrics like cotton and hemp make an appearance in loose-fit pants and airy long-sleeve shirts, hitting the perfect balance between structure and softness. A standout new arrival is the “W Drewe” jacket, which brings a utilitarian edge with its Fountain twill cotton construction and a signature Carhartt heart patch on the bottom left pocket.
