Puma’s Latest Campaign, “Go Wild”, Celebrates the Runner’s High
IYKYK.
PUMA‘s latest campaign, “Go Wild,” isn’t just about running — it’s about everything that comes with it: the struggle, the grind, the sweat. But most importantly the highs.
Set to a track inspired by Afroman’s early ’00s hit Because I Got High, the film cleverly syncs its visuals with the adapted lyrics, adding a dose of humor and an all-too-relatable truth: once you’ve tasted the runner’s high, you’ll always be coming back for more. Runners will get it. Non-runners? Well, maybe it’s time to find out.
Instead of a celebrity cast, the campaign spotlights the everyday runner – the early risers, the new mums, the commuters, the pet owners – each chasing that endorphin rush that only running brings.

“This new brand campaign represents a new vision for sport and a new chapter for PUMA,” shares Richard Teyssier, Global VP Brand and Marketing at PUMA. “In times of social media followership and ‘meme’ culture, we want to inspire the professional and everyday athletes to look inside themselves to find their own greatness and have the courage to unleash their true self.”
As a follow-up to this video, PUMA will roll out a series of videos breaking down the “Go Wild” concept through its brand ambassadors. Athletes like Usain Bolt, Mondo Duplantis and Tommie Smith will take charge, sharing their own take on the thrill of the run and the moments that keep them coming back.
