Cleotrapa Drops New Single "Super Giant"

In conversation with us, New York-based rapper and personality Cleotrapa discusses her new music and upcoming EP.
From VH1‘s hit show, The Impact to her fashion style and TikTok‘s, Cleotrapa’s impact is undeniable. Following the release of her 2024 single, “Rockstar” (which sampled Hannah Montana‘s single with the same name), the New Yorker announces her latest drop, “Super Giant.”
Now streaming, “Super Giant” is the first release from the rapper’s upcoming EP fusing rock and drill sounds. Drill, a subgenre of hip hop, is well-loved amongst the east coast, and Cleo’s sauce gives it the girly touch it’s been missing.
On what inspired her to lead with single, she said: “I enjoy mixing rock and drill and wanted to drop another song with those elements for my fans, who also enjoy when I put the two sounds together. It’s hard but still fun.”
“My experiences inspire my sound. What I’ve been through, where I’m at, where I’m going, these are the things that bring the energy, style and personality into all my work.”
