If you struggled with eternal breakouts as a teenager, you know that uneven skin tone and dark spots are practically inevitable. Although I’ve learned by now that picking pimples isn’t an effective way to shrink spots, I unfortunately have the hyperpigmentation to prove it. Because of this, I’ve discovered niacinamide is the ideal skincare ingredient to refresh my complexion. So, when I learned about K-beauty brand Biodance‘s niacinamide-infused sheet mask, I had to give it a try.
For me, a sheet mask is a must for giving my skin a much-needed boost amid a busy work week. Even though I consider myself to have sensitive skin, I’m always excited to try out a new mask — especially when it’s made with ingredients I know my face will love. After realizing all of Biodance’s beloved face masks required a minimum of three hours of my time, I was intrigued to know if the results were just as dramatic.

It’s safe to say Korean beauty brands revolutionized face masks — along with the entire skincare category as a whole. Because of innovative brands like Biodance, it’s easier than ever to target your skin’s unique concerns thanks to specialized products and effective ingredients. In the case of the Radiant Vita Niacinamide Mask in particular, cult-favorite ingredients like hyaluronic acid, peptides and niacinamide are absorbed into the skin to deliver a more even skin tone and lasting hydration. Plus, Biodance has five sensitive skin-friendly masks to choose from, delivering everything from radiance and firmness to glass skin and blemish control.
How To Use
Thankfully, sheet masks are pretty intuitive, and the Radiant Vita Niacinamide Mask is no different. Biodance recommends applying the mask one to three times a week as the last step of your skincare routine, meaning it’s most effective on skin that’s been properly cleansed and toned. However, unlike some masks which only claim to take around 20 minutes to settle into your skin, this one brings the best results when it’s left on overnight.
As much as I love a quick face mask before applying makeup, I do appreciate that the niacinamide mask offers a more thorough experience. Admittedly, my bangs and eyelash extensions often make overnight skin treatments impossible, but I found that this mask doesn’t slip off your face throughout the night and I can comfortably sleep in it as long as my hair is tucked back in a headband. If you’d rather skip the overnight method, the brand says to keep the mask on until it’s completely transparent in color — signaling your skin has absorbed it fully.
An Honest Review
Sometimes face masks can feel ineffective to me, like all they’re doing is slathering product on to the top layer of my skin. However, that was not the case with the Radiant Vita Niacinamide Mask. Not only did I feel refreshed the morning after applying it, I also noticed a visible difference in my skin — it was plump to the touch and unmistakably glowy. After consistent use, I also noticed the niacinamide improving uneven parts of my skin tone. To me, that’s reason enough to keep using it.
Although it can be a little annoying to find the time in your day to let the mask work its magic, I’ve never regretted doing so. I was once extremely against leaving treatments on overnight, but this one has a way of gripping on to my face and staying put, no matter how much I toss and turn. Beyond that, it’s a great addition to my self care routine and also an extremely effective way to get my necessary dose of niacinamide.
