London's Natural History Museum Is Launching a Pokémon Pop-Up

A major museum takeover to mark 30 years of the franchise.

Get ready to catch ‘em all. Pokémon has teamed up with London’s Natural History Museum to open a special “Pokécology” pop-up celebrating its 30th anniversary. Bringing two icons together, immersive experience focuses on the ecological aspects of the franchise through curate exhibits and limited-edition products playing on scientific illustrations and the museum’s architecture.

The pop-up coincides with and is inspired by the upcoming book Pokécology: An Illustrated Guide to Pokémon Ecology, exploring how Pokémon interact with their natural environments. Through art prints, tote bags, stuffed animals, apparel, pins and more collectibles, the intersection of science and art lives in the museum’s Cranbourne Boutique. For the collectors out there, every purchase made at the pop-up will come with an oversized “Pikachu at the Museum” Pokémon TCG card.

The pop-up will open on January 26 and run through April 19. Not able to get to London before the experience shuts its doors for good? That’s no problem. A selection of the products will be available online via Pokémon’s U.K. website, as well as the Natural History Museum’s online store starting on January 30.

In other news, The Sims 4 just launched a full Coach collection in-game.
