MAC and Depop Are Blurring the Line Between Beauty and Fashion
With the help of reality TV star Leah Kateb.
MAC Cosmetics and Depop are teaming up for a new creator-led collaboration, led by Love Island USA‘s Leah Kateb and Jordyn Woods. The partnership hopes to celebrate self expression and the joy of thrifting — along with MAC’s newly-launched Powder Kiss and MACximal Matte Lipsticks.
“MAC has always been known as more than a beauty brand – it’s a culture brand rooted in fashion, artistry and community,” says Rachel Lockett, vice president of MAC North America. “So it was a no brainer for us to partner with Depop, a brand so well known for its grasp on youth culture and empowering self-expression, to meet today’s consumers in a new place with an authentic beauty meets fashion experience.” In addition to a Depop capsule, the collaboration also includes a pop-up event in New York City.

Drawing inspiration from the soft, romantic vibes of the lip product, Leah Kateb’s curated Depop drop is completed with effortlessly chic pieces — including selections from Roberto Cavalli, Acne Studios and Alexander McQueen. Additionally, every purchase from the edit will also come with a Powder Kiss Lipstick.
