method and Daniella Monet Put an End to Messy Breakups With Dish Soap

The new Dump Your Dish Drama social content series features the ‘Victorious’ star and new method super shine dish soap line as the ultimate relationship mediators.

A new method to the madness, courtesy of the home and personal care brand method itself? Sounds about right.

Of all the chores to fight about, dishes seem to top the list — and they have for generations. method and Daniella Monet are finally putting a stop to this madness by addressing the source: ineffective dish soaps. The brand is introducing a product designed to save your dishes and stop the extra scrubs fueling disconnection at the sink.

To learn more about how doing the dishes impacts relationships, method did some research which found that “dish drama” is a serious issue. Dish duty has caused arguments between more than one in two (57%) couples, leading them to end — or consider ending — their relationships*.

method is putting an end to “dish drama,” with method super shine liquid dish soap and foaming dish spray, powered by enzymes that start to cut through grease and grime immediately upon contact. method super shine’s breakthrough formulas eat away and lift tough messes with ease, so dishes don’t become the reason for a breakup.

method enlisted Daniella Monet, given her Victorious star-power and vegan chef status, as the star of the brand’s Dump Your Dish Drama content series. Monet’s real life experience in synchronizing dish washing rituals with her husband made her a natural fit to mediate and mend real couples’ “dish drama.” “Between balancing my new projects, family life, and my culinary passions, I know the power of ‘dish drama,” Monet says about the series. “Teaming up with method to put a stop to the issue felt right — any way to bring levity and conversation to elevating your dishwashing experience, I am here for [it].”

In the first episode, Monet is put to the test with a real couple at the sink. Informed by her years of first-hand experience (both as an actor and dishwasher), she seamlessly mediates as the couple takes turns with the dishes. One shares their feelings while scrubbing and rinsing, while the other dries and listens, engaging in a real conversation about their “dish drama.”

The full series will roll out in the coming weeks, with each episode tackling a new couple’s unique “dish drama,” while creating a smoother, quicker dish-washing experience. In the meantime, ditch the “dish drama” and shop method super shine dish soap line today at methodproducts.com or at Target – you and yours will thank you.
