Marimekko Makes Florals, Pola Dots and Clashing Colors Cool
In its Fall/Winter 2026 collection.
Bold, playful and sculptural, this is Finnish design at its finest. Marimekko introduces its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, exploring the art of printmaking as its overarching theme. This collection is a dialogue between structure and spontaneity, showcasing ultimate Scandi-girl chic.
The design house presents graphic compositions, with prints by artist Maija Isola, including her architectural Attika pattern. The design features on mini and maxi dresses alongside playful co-ord sets, while fabrications remain fluid and light, with silk, cupro and viscose built for ease of movement.
Illustrator Lotta Maija’s miniature-scale floral prints are also featured, presented in vivid cobalt blue accents across the collection. Other prints include abstract florals, polka dots and ornamental outlines, with a palette that explores pinks, reds and burgundies balanced out by a mineral sage and pastel mint.
If you fancy something more “dark-feminine” in nature, the brand presents pieces ready for cocktail dressing and party season with refined tonal black-on-black prints. And it wouldn’t be partywear without some sparkle, introducing metallic patterned purses and 3D hair accessories.
