Vans Japan and BILLY's Reimagine the Slip-On as a Loafer

Vans Japan has linked up with Japanese retailer BILLY’s once again, and this time they turned a skate culture classic into a smart stepper. Reimagining Vans’ iconic Slip-On sneaker silhouette as a loafer, this shoe is the hybrid “snoafer” we’ve all been waiting for.
The canvas upper of the Slip-On has been replaced by premium leather and tassels for this exclusive collaboration. Keeping the same waffle outsole and rubber midsole, the comfort of the original sneaker is subtle, hidden underneath the polished upper.
Arriving in both black and brown, the spirit of Vans is still alive and well in this new take on a classic. All the hallmarks of the Slip-On are there, with bold updates to make it a completely new creation under Vans’ belt. A perfect shoe for all day wear, this is the type of sneaker you could get away with wearing to a wedding.
