The Aussie Fashion Brands Taking Over Our Algorithms

From Scarlet & Sam and Rashi World to Tissa and Roc Boots, here’s who you need to shop now.

Australian brands are having a moment, and we’re not the only ones who have noticed it. Scroll through your For You Page or TikTok feed and you’ll be met with a new era of buzzy fashion brand. After indie London labels and summery Spanish brands comes the Aussie era, characterized by seasonless basics, bright colors and plenty of it-girl energy.

As the heatwave across the pond continues, we’ve rounded up some of our faves to add to your basket this summer. From the creators of everyone’s fave bomber jacket, Scarlet & Sam, to the brand turning traditional saris into contemporary fashion statements, Tissa, here’s a list of the Aussie fashion brands taking over our feeds right now.

Scarlet & Sam was founded in Melbourne in 2021 by Scarlet Robertson and has since become an integral part of Australia’s it-girl fashion scene. Known for its viral Capsule Bomber silhouette alongside classic styles like the Juicy Wedge and Scrunched Tee, it fuses timeless basics with contemporary details and a unique twist.

Other Normal

Melbourne’s Other Normal was founded back in 2023. Its signature pieces include the viral Low-Rise Pant (and now capri) along with its brightly colored selection of v-neck tanks that you’ll no doubt be seeing all over your feeds after this. Taking inspiration from cult ’90s silhouettes like yoga pants, three-quarter sleeves and capris, it’s your go-to for all things nostalgic.

Blanch

Blanch was born in Western Australia. Its pieces are created by a small team in Indonesia, in small batches. Favoring a low-waste approach, the brand offers a range of minimal styles in bright colors, favoring long-term wear over excessive consumption. Fan favorites include the Stella Tee and Lucy Tank, in shades like “glacier” and “chilli.”

Roc Boots is one of Australia’s oldest and best labels, founded back in 1990. Based in Sydney, the brand takes inspiration from its love of music and street style, and pairs premium full-grain leather with contemporary silhouettes. Most recently, Roc’s Kimchi flip flops and Kinetic slides have become its most popular styles, with classics like the Racer and Ridge not far behind.

Rashi World

Rashi World is a new swimwear label that launched earlier this year, focusing on prioritizing skin health and conscious design. Its debut collection launched back in April and is crafted from Econyl, a sun-safe, sustainable nylon made from recycled fishing nets and ocean waste. Each piece offers UPF coverage, making it a pretty unique offering compared to its counterparts.
