DU CIEL Is Doing Swimwear Differently
With sultry designs made for both the beach and the city.
Aesthetic curation and dreamy, soft feminine vibes are what come to mind when scrolling through DU CIEL’s Instagram page. The independent label is a master of visuals, able to instantly transform the simplest pieces into works of art. You may have seen its viral Cabris swimsuit from last year, a sultry one-piece with a dangerously low cut back. Now, the brand is making a welcome return to the swimwear space after taking a year-long hiatus to refine its creative direction.
Founded in 2019 by Maria Sinkovskiy, the label is skipping the usual beach settings for its latest release, opting instead for a sultry Parisian backdrop lensed by photographer Marco Lombardi. The entire rollout focuses on a singular new silhouette called the Monaco swimsuit. Shifting away from typical coastal themes, the visual imagery captures warm summer moments inside the city.
The garment itself features a dramatic plunge neckline, an open back design and a sculpting strap positioned right under the bust. This piece marks a sharp, intentional pivot toward elevated swimwear essentials for the brand. By moving the focus into an urban environment, the label highlights the versatility of the cut beyond traditional resort wear, ready to be paired with some low-rise jeans. Every design element feels deliberate, focusing on clean lines and a close fit that hugs the body. Get ready to be the chicest one at the beach this summer.
The Monaco swimsuit is now available through the DU CIEL website.
In other news, Réalisation Par just dropped a cinematic film to celebrate 10 years of the brand and its new London store.
