Madonna Makes Her Debut as KIKO Milano's Global Brand Ambassador
Plus, a new campaign.
Italian makeup brand KIKO Milano just tapped Madonna as its newest global brand ambassador. The Milan-born label is celebrating the new partnership with “The KIKO Show,” a dramatic, beauty-fueled campaign that draws from the duo’s shared passion for basking in the spotlight and a sheer refusal to be anything but the main event.
“Madonna is the blueprint. She’s everything,” KIKO’s chief brand officer Drew Elliott says in a press release. “It’s designed to demand an audience, just like our muse and just like the products themselves.” Shot by photographer Rafael Pavarotti and styled with pieces from Madonna’s personal Confessions Tour wardrobe alongside Tom Ford-era YSL archival looks, the campaign visuals are exactly on par with the star’s signature glamorous aesthetic.
Front and center of the campaign are some of KIKO Milano hero products — the long-wearing Unlimited Double Touch liquid lipstick, the luminous 3D Hydra Lip Gloss and the voluminous Maxi Mod Mascara, which all serve as a nod to the brand’s core ethos of high-performing, Italian-made formulas at an accessible price point.
