KidSuper's SS27 Show Brought the World Cup to Paris Fashion Week
Transporting the runway to Miami’s Nu Stadium.
KidSuper’s Spring/Summer 2027 show was one of the most fitting celebrations of the World Cup the fashion industry has ever seen. Hosting his runway away from the hustle, bustle and heatwaves of Paris Fashion Week this season, Colm Dillane brought his latest interpretation of the beautiful game to Miami. Rolling out a red carpet in the middle of MLS side Inter Miami’s Nu Stadium, “Resenha” was brought to life in bright colors, curated sounds and layered looks.
Translating to gossip, chatting or even a hangout with friends in Brazilian Portuguese, the show’s title “Resenha” was a perfect reflection of the presentation itself. Leaning into the soccer of it all, Inter Miami’s supporter group La Familia brought the passion of a match day to the show, with drums, horns and custom KidSuper flags waving above the runway entrance.
The clothes themselves were inspired by the 48 countries taking place at the World Cup this summer. Each look is Dillane’s own take on a nation and its style, with the models all hailing from the countries they represented on the runway. Unveiling two travel-minded collaborations — one with Bose and another with Shay Mitchell’s luggage brand BÉIS — the spirit of the Cup and the fluidity of borders was present throughout.
The garments were designed with the global game in mind, but each piece holds weight on its own. A more refined celebration of soccer from Dillane, every look is elevated, with rhinestone embellishments and subtle embroidery decorating jackets, jeans, shorts and sweaters. The bags were a highlight of the collection, covered in the same bold patterns and vibrant hues that make the collection so captivating.
It was a star-studded affair, with Wisdom Kaye styling every look and Mitchell strutting down the runway herself, representing her native Canada, of course. A surprise performance from Sean Paul closed out the show, temporarily allowing guests to flood the runway for a private concert Dillane jokingly called the real World Cup Halftime Show.
