What Went Down at SPANX and Hypebae's Summer Run Club
Featuring healthy snacks and gifts, plus a first look at the brand’s soon-to-launch running capsule.
To test SPANX’s best-selling summer active styles and celebrate our 10th anniversary, Hypebae and SPANX gathered editors and friends for the ultimate NYC heatwave experience. Despite the rising temperatures, the brand’s BoostUp collection, developed with StayCool Tech, was the perfect way to stay fresh whilst still looking stylish. Offering thermal-regulated styles with cooling technology, the pieces are designed with WINCOOL® yarn, a fabric technology that absorbs and releases heat.
Along with BoostUp, guests were able to trial the SPANX BodyLine Sheerious collection, crafted with flattering mesh detailing for added breathability and a curve-enhancing silhouette.
Sunglasses gifting was provided by Sunglass Hut to keep our guests protected during the run, along with pieces from more of our favorite brands like Vacation Inc., Cherry Golf and Rare Beauty.
The run club event featured a 3-mile journey from Soho to the West Side Highway, finishing back at the Hypegolf Clubhouse with a much-needed spread of snacks, cheese boards and healthy, refreshing juices.
Rounding out the experience, Hypebae’s guests changed into cozy loungewear pieces from the SPANX AirEssentials® collection, ranging from soft boatneck tank tops and matching 5” shorts to half-zip jumpsuits and crewnecks. These lightweight pieces were the perfect throw-on-and-go styles to help our guests relax into the rest of their evenings.
Guests also received an exclusive first look at fall launches from SPANX, including its soon-to-launch BoostUp RunClub capsule and fall AirEssentials® styles.
