Following Michael Kors acquiring Versace in a $2.1 billion USD deal, the Italian label has announced that it will be heading stateside for its upcoming Pre-Fall 2019 show. The collection will show on December 2 in New York, marking a special date for Donatella Versace as it was the date her late brother Gianni’s birthday.

The decision to show in NYC reportedly came before the acquisition by Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. which has now renamed itself to Capri Holdings to better represent the growing group.
