Here Are 11 Vintage Fendi Pieces Worth Splurging on

The Double F fever is at an all-time high.

Fashion has caught the logomania bug this Spring/Summer 2018 season. In addition to Chanel sneakers and basically anything stamped with Gucci‘s house logo, Fendi‘s classic Zucca print is also a current favorite among the in-crowd, with Kim Kardashian, the Hadid sisters, Jhené Aiko and more spotted stepping out in Double F gear in the past few months. “Cool mom” Kylie Jenner even put her newborn Stormi Webster in an FF-covered baby stroller, while she herself was clad in a matching dress and fanny pack. Most recently, Nicki Minaj also opted for a head-to-toe Fendi outfit for her “Chun-Li” single cover, in which she’s seen dressed a furry jacket and thong from the storied Italian brand.

The resurgence of interest in the Fendi logo calls for a look back at its history. Back in 1965 when the young Karl Lagerfeld first joined the fashion house, the designer swiftly created what would soon become the ubiquitous Zucca logo during an early meeting with the brand. Fun fact: the two inverted Fs actually embody the special meaning of “Fun Fur,” a design concept that Lagerfeld’s Fendi prides itself on. Today, the brand remains as one of the most sought-after fashion labels, thanks to its rich heritage as well as its ever-evolving and playful designs. From its newly-launched “FF Reloaded” capsule collection to the highly-anticipated Fall/Winter 2018 collaboration with FILA, expect to see Fendi products everywhere this year.

To stay on top of the trend, scroll through below to see 11 vintage Fendi items that you should invest in, including the iconic Baguette bag, Zucca pattern pants and more.
