Virgil Abloh Just Revealed His First Louis Vuitton Sneaker
The design was teased alongside a mini-bag.
Virgil Abloh‘s inaugural Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week Men’s is presenting on June 21. Louis Vuitton is documenting his returns to the studio atelier and in a new Instagram preview, teased a new sneaker.
The sneaker sketch reveals a mid-top design with LV branded on the lateral and its signature monogram on the midsole. Virgil is heard calling it a “a classic sneaker,” thinking aloud that it needs gold or porcelain “to make it more rich.”
The porcelain is also teased in a handbag design where its chain strap is engineered with porcelain. In another, a small shoulder pouch appears, executed in classic brown leather with the LV monogram. Clothing appears to be classic Abloh, albeit on a more tailored note.
