Beautycon LA Brought out All Your Favorite Celebrities – Here's What Went Down

Featuring Kim Kardashian, Adwoa Aboah and… Snoop Dogg.

For those who are unaware, Beautycon is one of the world’s most major beauty events. Bringing together celebrities, experts and fans in one space, the experience offers up a unique array of panel discussions, workshops, shopping and the chance to connect with other makeup fanatics IRL.

This past weekend, the festival took over the Los Angeles Convention Center for two days of immersive cosmetic experiences. Attendees were treated to everything from a talk from Kim Kardashian, who also brought along North West to Snoop Dogg, who discussed the history of his hair. Industry experts like Jen Atkin and Joyce Bonelli took to the stage to offer their unique insight on hair and makeup alongside other professionals. Other talks included celebrities like model and activist Adwoa Aboah, Jordyn Woods, Irene Kim, 13 Reasons Why‘s Alisha Boe and Riverdale stars Camila Mendes and Shannon Purser. Beauty isn’t just for girls, however, and Patrick Starr and Queer Eye‘s groomer extraordinaire Jonathan Van Ness were also on hand to share their expertise.

Beauty brands are also an essential part of the Beautycon experience, and activations from the likes of Urban Decay, Kylie Cosmetics and Lime Crime amongst others offered up a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, with booths carefully curated to both reflect the brands and be the perfect Instagram backdrop. Check out the gallery above for some of our Beautycon highlights – makeup aficionados might also want to check out Nordstrom’s huge beauty sale.
