A Closer Look at Alexander Wang's CEO-Inspired FW18 Collection
Featuring so many must-haves.
Back in February, Alexander Wang debuted his Fall/Winter 2018 collection on the New York Fashion Week runway, and now the pieces are finally hitting stores. For the FW18 range, Wang focused on the team of the female CEO, and centered the show around his made-up corporation #WANGINC. With everything from office-ready ensembles, elevated blazers, athleisure-inspired eveningwear and more – the collection is truly a must-have this season.
Taking a closer look at the new arrivals, the range features a selection of mini-backpacks in his signature shape, one decked out with metallic pill-shaped beads, as well as studded backpacks, shoes and leather jackets. Also featuring credit card-inspired prints, the collection includes sweatshirts with the money-centric graphic, where if the number is plugged into a T9 phone – the numbers spell out “ALEXANDER WANG.”
Last but not least, perhaps the most eye-catching piece of the collection are a pair of bedazzled stockings, emblazoned with crystal beads in the shape of Wang’s bold-font logo. Of course, the range also features jackets, hoodies and tops in true Alexander Wang fashion.
