FILA's Chunky Disruptor 2 Gets a Fresh, '90s Logo Update
Check out the pastel-toned script.
FILA‘s bold ’90s silhouette, the Disruptor 2, has been a sneakerhead favorite throughout the past year, thanks to fashion’s retro revival. Now, the South Korean sports brand has updated the kicks with even more of a throwback touch – a scripted logo right across the sidewall.
The sneaker itself has a pared-back all white upper, with the signature panelled leather finish complemented by white laces, stitching and tonal logo embroidery on the side, heel and tongue. Underneath, there’s the ultra-chunky midsole complete with a serrated outsole, which is still an on-trend style as evidenced throughout our SS19 Fashion Week streetsnaps. Of course, the real statement-maker is FILA’s script logo which is scrawled across the lateral side in an adorable pastel color palette – why not pair these with Rowing Blazer’s latest collection for a nostalgic look?
You can cop a pair of your own over at Foot Locker for £90 GBP (approx. $115 USD). For an even bolder look, check out the FILA Disruptor 2 in all these summer-ready colorways.
