Dua Lipa Just Dropped a New Track & Music Video, "Swan Song"
She’s back.
After a bit of a hiatus, Dua Lipa returns to release a new song and video titled “Swan Song.” Dua has been in headlines recently ahead of the 61st annual Grammys, where she is nominated for two awards. The track also precede the forthcoming film, Alita: Battle Angel, a theatrical movie out on February 14.
Directed by female director and photographer, Floria Sigismondi the visual features Lipa within the limits of the Iron City right in the middle of Alita. The underlying meaning behind the video is a glimpse into Dua’s journey of self-discovery, throughout it she finds her strength and innate power.
“Swan Song” is co-written by Lipa and Justin Tranter, Kennedi Lykken, Mattias Larsson, Robin Fredriksson and Tom Holkenborg. This release follows the singer’s tremendous 2018 which included the fact that she was the most streamed female in the world on Spotify according to a press release. Her previously released track, “One Kiss” with Calvin Harris was the biggest selling UK single last year.
